Reg and Eleonore Forder and Joan C. Webb at ACW Arizona Conference
Nov. 1, 2008
American Christian Writers (ACW), founded by Reg and Eleonore Forder, is in the “ministry business” of encouraging and training both beginning and advanced writers. On Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 the traveling ACWConference had the annual AZ weekend and I felt privileged to teach and consult with many talents writers in varying stages of their writing and publishing careers.
Here’s a few photos of the exciting and busy two days.
I had lunch with three talented and intentional writers, Lynn, Cheryl, and Kim.
Literary agent, Steve Laube, taught the “non-fiction writing” workshops on Friday.
After a delicious chili supper made by our daughter Lynnette Rasmussen, all seven grandchildren and their parents (Lynnette and Adam and Rich and Anne) walked the neighborhood streets with Grandma Nancy, Aunt Leigh, Grandma Joan and Papa. Some friends joined in the parade.
Papa and Grandma Joan with Rich and Anne’s three boys: 8 year old Max the Scary Man, 5 year old Luke the Power Ranger, and 2 year old Sam the Lion. Lots of fun.
Sisters 9 year old Annika the Spider Woman (hiding in the back), 5 year old Kirsten the Gypsy, 4 year old Lesia as Pocahantus, and 2 month old Calissa as a little pumpkin with Grandma Nancy from Iowa and Aunt Leigh from Queen Creek. They carved their own pumpkins.
